Michael Bader is a clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst living and working in San Francisco. He has been a pioneer in efforts to integrate psychoanalysis and social theory and has published over 15 articles in Tikkun Magazine that have done just that.

In addition, Dr. Bader has been in the forefront of the movement to humanize psychoanalysis and make psychotherapeutic technique more helpful to patients. Dr. Bader is widely respected as a teacher, public speaker, writer, and therapist. He has spoken around the country on topics as varied as fashion, sadomasochism, cynicism, Bruce Springsteen, and post-modernism.
